'We have no chance,' frontman Bill Kaulitz says of band's two nominations.

Tokio Hotel are the only males to be nominated for Best New Artist at this year's Video Music Awards — they are also the only foreign act contending for the prize. Maybe that will give them the edge, but the guys are quite shy about their chances of snagging a Moonman at Sunday's big show.

For those in the neighbourhood, know that TH will perform on Saturday September 6th at 6 pm in Hollywood as part of Hot Topic's The Lost Show. Wristbands were given when buying a TH CD or t-shirt (see news post of September 3rd)

For those of you a bit far, or that have an ocean in their way, and thus couldn't go get your wristband; Hot Topic will be streaming this on their website. I hope they are ready to be flooded with fans from all over ther world

I come bearing gifts! Well more or less.

The boys have been quite busy this days and here we have the recordings of their radio appearances we found so far.

On Wednesday morning they were in San Diego, at KHS radio's studio. You can hear their interview here and their accoustic performance here. Poor boys, they had their dark past as Devilish revealed. The radio station also put up a video and a photo gallery (over 120 photos). Check it!

There will be an autograph signing taking place August 8th at the Hot Topic in the Freehold Raceway Mall, in Freehold, New Jersey. There are only 300 wristbands that will be given out to get you an autograph, and to get one you have to buy a t-shirt or a CD from there, so you'd better get over there and get buying! There's been a new date added to the list of summer festivals! They will be performing in North America again in August, at the Festival des Mongolfières in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on August 9th at 9:30pm! Ticket information can be found here. No other dates in NA are known at the moment.

The boys lately really are everywhere! Now it's the turn of MSN.com.

While we wait for their concert to be available on June 12th, we can go check their profile page and watch the exclusiv interview TH did with MSN.com while they were in Los Angeles. It's a fun interview where they talk a bit about everything: their music, their history, their fans, their plans for 2008... Go watch it!

Sadly though, the site seems to allow access to those on the US only.

August 15th will be the third anniversary of the release of Durch den Monsun, the song that launched Tokio Hotel's career. We at Tokio Hotel International wanted to do something special to mark this three year milestone. So we're going to put together a new video, but to make it really amazing, we need YOU!

We would like you to send us pictures of yourself that were inspired by the song. You could pose with an umbrella, or dancing in the rain or whatever you like, as long as it shows us some link to the song. We will be compiling all the pictures onto a stormy background, and combining them with all the different versions of Durch den Monsun. Then on August 15th we will post the video on YouTube for everyone to enjoy, along with sending a copy to the band on CD.

It's that time again! I know all your voting fingers are getting restless now, right? ;D (well, hopefully not, as they ARE still on the TRL countdown, of course!) Well, this won't give them too much of a workout, but Portrait magazine has put up their nominees for their 2008 Top 30 Under 30! You can only vote once, so it's quick and painless, and you can find the voting here:

Just find them in the drop-down menu and click 'submit vote'. Right now they've only got 3% of the votes (547 votes total) - they're getting their asses kicked by the Twilight cast (who are at 4104)! This is unacceptable :P

Premiering this Wednesday Nov 7 5PM Pacific/8PM Eastern...The first episode of Tokio Hotel TV!

Beginning this week, www.tokiohotel-us.com will be bringing you a brand new video from the band every Wednesday. Tokio Hotel TV will feature different aspects of the guys' lives, exclusive backstage material, concerts and current footage from the road. Basically, whatever the guys of Tokio Hotel come up with, direct to the fans. Enjoy!
